The hotel had nice staff who showed us to our room, but we encountered paper-thin walls and poor paid WiFi. The housekeeping was decent, just cleaning our room.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were lovely and luxurious but a bit smaller than expected, and there was a lingering smell of smoke that was off-putting. The service was mostly great, especially from the valet guys and Atlanta Grill, but it fell short of a true 5-star experience. The location was excellent, right in downtown Atlanta and within walking distance of major attractions, although there were no connector doors in the immediate vicinity. The dining experience was a bit hit or miss, with some meals being disappointing.
The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms that meet Ritz standards with a great outlook. The service was professional and courteous, although the rooms felt somewhat standard. The location is excellent, right in downtown and close to major attractions. The dining experience was great but at a high price. Overall, a solid choice for a stay in a convenient location.
